DEWALT DCS590B 20V MAX XR Brushless Circular Saw, Tool Only

The DEWALT DCS590B is a beast of a cordless circular saw. It's their most powerful 20V MAX model, delivering 1,700 MWO and spinning up to 5,500 RPM. That means it rips through pressure-treated lumber and stacked framing without bogging down. The brushless motor also gives you up to 368 cuts per charge with a 6Ah battery, so you can work all day. One tradeoff: the blade is on the right side of the motor. That's fine for most right-handed users, but it means you'll have to lean over to see the cut line if you're used to a left-blade saw. The electric brake stops the blade almost instantly when you release the trigger, which is a nice safety touch. 5, giving you plenty of flexibility for roof cuts and miters. 99 (tool only), it's a solid price for this level of power. You'll need to factor in a battery and charger if you don't already own DEWALT 20V gear. But if you're already on the platform, this is a no-brainer upgrade.
