Our Take

Best for: Someone with a sub-550 Mbps plan looking for a simple, reliable router upgrade.

This is a single, refurbished eero mesh router. It's designed to replace your old router and provide better WiFi coverage across a home up to 1,500 square feet. It's not a multi-pack mesh system, so it works best as a standalone upgrade for smaller spaces or as the first unit if you plan to expand later. The standout feature is the eero app, which makes setup and daily management very straightforward, even if you're not tech-savvy. You can pause devices for kids or create a guest network with a few taps. It's important to note its speed limit of 550 Mbps. If you have a gigabit internet plan, this router will bottleneck your connection. Also, features like advanced threat scanning and ad blocking require a separate eero Secure subscription. At this sale price, it's a cost-effective way to get reliable eero performance, especially if your needs are modest and you don't mind a refurbished unit.

Price Analysis

At $42.99, this is a good price for a certified refurbished eero. The 180-day average is $43.59, so you're paying slightly less than the typical recent price. Given the original price was $55.79, the 23% discount makes this a solid value if you're comfortable with a refurbished product.
