Gotham Knights is an open-world action RPG set in a Batman-less Gotham City. You pick one of four heroes - Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, or Robin - to patrol the city, fight crime, and unravel a conspiracy involving villains like Mr. Freeze and the Court of Owls. The main draw is the ability to play the entire story campaign in two-player online co-op, which is a fun way to experience the game with a friend. Each character feels different, with their own combat style and skill trees to upgrade.

What stands out is the sheer amount of content. There's a large city map to traverse, many story missions, and side activities. However, the mission structure can become grindy, and the game had notable performance problems at launch, particularly with frame rate. These have been improved with patches, but it's not the smoothest experience.
